I recently ordered some competency sections. I got some 300. And also there was this stay dry polar tech that is a fleece wool blend. I believe 70fleece 30 wool. Should I treat it as wool or fleece. Do I need to lanolize it and do you think it will shrink a lot. I would wash it on cold. Not sure what to do. Also it is very thin. Should I double it? It was very. Cheap so I got it to try it out. I made a few shakers from antipill fleece I had around the house from your pattern and I LOVE them and so does my son. He calls them his blankey covers:)Carahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16345466192006360680noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4821011446776208970.post-50505763836116643232014-02-04T17:32:59.617-08:002014-02-04T17:32:59.617-08:00I am SEW excited to try this pattern! It was a nice merino so I knew it would be a good longie but not work well for night time use or naps even. So I remembered that Little Bird(I believe) had a pair that they sold? that had an attatched panty on the inside. So I decided to try this and it works perfectly and looks so very adorable! You could use the main part of your soaker pattern and sew side seems, roll hem and stitch in leg area and attatch to the waistband when attatching to the pant legs. Of course being the picky sewer I had to make sure the seems would not touch baby. They looked very professional. I can send you pics if you like :o)I am commenting in the hopes that another mom would benefit from the idea.Jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15502547328824972296noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4821011446776208970.post-23967871024478997152011-12-10T14:46:58.170-08:002011-12-10T14:46:58.170-08:00Ok I don't think I said that right.
What I m...Ok I don't think I said that right.

What I meant to say is that the distance from SOLID line to bottom edge (dotted) is longer on front piece then on back piece.....so when I taped them together (at vertical dotted line) they didnt match up. So essentially one pattern piece was longer than the other.

I sewed it anyway... I just forced them to match up by making the shorter one longer. But the crotch area is a bit wonky on her..
